Dovetail Partners Announces Eliza Meyer as Executive Director
(01/01/2026) Dovetail Partners, Inc. is pleased to announce Eliza Meyer as Executive Director, marking an exciting next chapter for an organization known for advancing responsible forestry, sustainable materials, and community‑centered natural resource solutions. Meyer steps into the role with a strong record of project leadership and program development, and she brings a deep commitment to bridging science and community needs across sectors.
Meyer began her work with Dovetail in 2022 and has served as a Project Director at Dovetail since 2023. She has led initiatives focused on forest resilience and wildfire adaptation, social sustainability, and the human dimensions of land stewardship. She has managed and enabled the growth of the Right-of-Way Stewardship Council (ROWSC) accreditation program. Her background in environmental sociology, combined with her skill in translating complex topics into accessible insights, has made her a trusted voice among partners, practitioners, and community members.

As Executive Director, Meyer will guide Dovetail’s multidisciplinary team, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand the organization’s role in shaping evidence‑based solutions for rural and urban landscapes.

The Executive Director reports to the President/CEO with responsibilities for supporting the success and impact of the Dovetail team of staff and associates, including overall organizational management and strategic program and project development.
