You are cordially invited to join one or both of these upcoming gatherings hosted by Renewing the Countryside (RTC) and Minnesota Women in Conservation (MNWiC). Connecting and strengthening the network of professional women in conservation is the goal - along with having fun and inspiring each other. You'll find these gatherings to be uniquely oriented toward connection, and not so much academic or skills oriented. It's been a rollercoaster of a year in the worlds of conservation and agriculture, and this will be a chance to share stories and look to a bright future of working and walking together.
RTC and MNWiC want to celebrate that Bernadine Joselyn, a maven of rural community resilience, will bring her Art of Hosting experience to facilitate a dynamic and interactive dialogue at both of the events. Bernadine hails from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, with twenty five years of leadership at the Blandin Foundation as the Director of Public Policy and Engagement.
Bernadine has fifteen years of experience in the Art of Hosting a World Cafe, and has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to rural life and building resilient communities. She also manages 140 acres of family forest land in Lake Ponto Township, Cass County.
Please join us as we engage in a variety of ways to stories about our work in serving women farmers, landowners, gardeners, and renters. Our first year with MNWIC has shown us that female producers and landowners are seeking more knowledge and assistance about conservation resources and practices. Together, let's strengthen the network of support that we collectively bring to the field and this important demographic
With two convenient event locations, Fergus Falls and Red Wing, you are invited to select whichever event is closer to you or attend both gatherings.
