Dovetail Partners Announces Kedren Dillard as Board Chair 5th Generation Forest Owner and Business Development Executive to Lead the Board Dovetail Partners announces Kedren Dillard has been elected as the new Board Chair of the organization. Kedren is a 5th generation forest landowner and brings decades of business experience to the role. Kedren Dillard is a Senior Business Development Executive for TransUnion’s public sector vertical in Washington DC. Prior to TransUnion, Kedren worked for Shipley Associates, a global professional and consulting firm, as an Executive Committee member and Senior Vice President of Enterprise Development. As a 5th generation forest landowner, Kedren is closely involved in the development of her family’s land and building landowner communities. She joined Dovetail’s Board in 2022 and looks forward to her new role as Chair, further supporting the organization and mission. “Kedren’s life and work experience are essential to the mission of Dovetail Partners,” said Kathryn Fernholz, President & CEO of Dovetail Partners. “As we continue to support connections between sustainable communities, economies, and materials we need to center the needs of family and business.” Dovetail Partners is a non-profit formed in 2003 and based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dovetail’s team works on the application of science to environmental decision making. Over its two-decade history, Dovetail has hosted over 100 student internships and released more than 300 reports on a range of topics from life-cycle analysis to voluntary certification programs and environmental policy innovations. “I am honored to continue my work with Dovetail. Prioritizing the needs and interests of small acreage landowners is paramount and Dovetail’s work and relationships throughout the sector completely aligns with that,” said Dillard. Dovetail Partners is grateful to immediate past chair Jill Koosmann who has served the organization since the formative years and will continue to lead the Finance Committee. Jill’s expertise in financial management has been essential to Dovetail’s growth and success.
