Join us for a special screening of the film, followed by a panel discussion with key contributors who helped bring it to life.
RECAP:
In June, Dovetail Partners collaborated to host a thought provoking screening and panel discussion of A Wilderness Act for community members and visitors to Ely, MN. Over a hundred community members and area visitors gathered to contemplate what wilderness means to us and how we can care for our country's most precious landscapes in a way that supports both ecosystems and human culture.
Key contributors to the film and panel discussion guests were Anishinaabe graduate student Nisogaabokwe Melonee Montano, University professor Evan Larson and fire practitioner Timo Rovo. Miigwech for sharing your time and knowledge. To watch the trailer for the film and learn how to host a screening visit https://www.ishkode.org/a-wilderness-act.
