Dovetail Partners presented a Webinar on "Using Biochar in Livestock and Poultry" on Wednesday, January 26. Speakers included Kathleen Draper, International Biochar Initiative; Mike Callicrate, Callicrate Beef and Ranch Foods Direct; Wayne Teel, James Madison University working with Shenandoah Valley Poultry Producers and Harry Groot, Dovetail Partners, Inc. Topics included biochar’s potential and how biochar is being used to solve problems. 

Biochar has been successfully used in livestock operations as a feed additive and as a manure management tool. You can learn more in Dovetail's report.

"Using Biochar in Livestock and Poultry" was part of a three-part webinar series on biochar, presented by Dovetail Partners. You can view part one, "Using Biochar in Viticulture", on our website.
