Celebrate 6th Annual National Bioenergy Day on October 24th at Koda Energy

Opportunity to learn from bioenergy organizations and tour facility in Shakopee, MN

(Shakopee, MN) – More than fifteen diverse organizations will be on-hand to celebrate the 6thAnnual National Bioenergy Day on October 24th.   Koda Energy, LLC in Shakopee, Minnesota will host an Open House and Sustainability Expo to celebrate Bioenergy Day and provide educational opportunities to the public.  The information tables, exhibits and tours will provide insight into the creation of energy with biomass materials.

“To celebrate Bioenergy Day, we invite the public to visit our facility, meet our staff and learn how Koda Energy is one of the most efficient energy facilities in the United States,” said Stacy Cook, President, Koda Energy LLC.

The event will be held rain or shine with tours of the Koda and Rahr facility throughout the day.  Giveaways, games, presentations, food and refreshments will be available onsite.

The event will be held from 9:00AM to 3:00PM on Wednesday, October 24that Koda Energy (975 3rdAve W, Shakopee, MN 55379)

“National Bioenergy Day offers opportunities to learn about biomass energy, including local systems used in Minnesota,” said Brian Brashaw, USDA Forest Service.
