Keynote to Address Building in the Wake of Wildfires and Climate Change
(Minneapolis, MN) - Join Dovetail Partners, a not-for-profit environmental think tank, at The Structural Engineers Association of Central California (SEAOC) Convention August 28-31, 2019 in Squaw Creek, California.
The agenda includes an opening keynote with Kathryn Fernholz, President of Dovetail Partners, that will address Building in the Wake of Wildfires and Climate Change. The presentation will share insights into US forest conditions, wildfire risks, forest management and restoration practices, and the role of forests and forest products in carbon mitigation.
The 88th Annual SEAOC Convention will be held at the Resort at Squaw Creek. The event includes two days of four tracks of technical sessions representing the latest in research, innovation, and business development and a trade show with over 60 vendors representing the leading industry firms. The Annual Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards will be presented during a special reception.
