This project examines the relationship between ecological monitoring, invasive species, and environmental justice in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Using data on invasive species, parks, tree canopy, and surrounding communities, the analysis explores how monitoring efforts vary across parks and identifies areas where environmental justice considerations, lower tree canopy, and limited ecological monitoring overlap. The project provides a starting point for considering where future monitoring, restoration, native planting, and green-space investment may be most beneficial.
