Biochar Use with Livestock and Poultry Infographic

Dovetail Partners presented a Webinar on "Using Biochar in Livestock and Poultry" on Wednesday, January 26. Speakers included Kathleen Draper, International Biochar Initiative; Mike Callicrate, Callicrate Beef and Ranch Foods Direct; Wayne Teel, James Madison University working with Shenandoah Valley Poultry Producers and Harry Groot, Dovetail Partners, Inc. Topics included biochar’s potential and how biochar is being used to solve problems. 

Biochar has been successfully used in livestock operations as a feed additive and as a manure management tool.
